DHS H8 inverted rubber, black in comparison to H3 prov
I had a chance to try H8 inverted rubber for only one evening. My foreign friend let me have it for only a day as he was on the move constantly. It was a wonderful experience and I thought I should share with you guys.
Appearance:
Very sticky top sheet, harder than H3 prov. Medium hard sponge below, as pressed felt by thumb, of type #25. But I do think its softer than H3 prov.
From a given corner piece, cut out of main rubber, I peeled off top sheet from sponge and examined via an industrial handheld eye lens and comparing to H3 prov: the pimples bodies seemed a little thinner than those of H3. Pimple surface rougher. Larger space between pimples.
Playing experience, about one and a half hours, sparring and in games:
The initial impression was the much better dwell time as the rubber absorbed the ball. Very obvious difference comparing to H3 which provided comfortable dwell time to me already. I felt the solid “sinking” of the ball even with Barath blade. Mind you it is not a “bottom out” at all. This is a contrast to H3. It allowed me time to have smooth coordination of wrist, arm and body/waist .
But don’t get me wrong. This is not a slow rubber at all. As top sheet is harder, I expected faster rebound and I was correct. What appalled me was the good control H8 displayed and with excellent “catapult” effect, that normally are contrasting factors to each other in all other rubbers I have so far.
There yet was another discovery. As I brush with lesser power and slightly slower stroke, this Barrath H8 combination amazed me with beautiful medium low arch, very deadly spiny return but no drop in speed!
The speedy, forceful and control hitting/looping behavior of this rubber boosted my confidence actually.
I like this rubber for my BH on Barrath blade. Definitely will buy some when they are available in local market.

Hóng H8!

Không thấy tác giả bài tiếng Anh nói đến thông số mặt H8 do nhà sản xuất cung cấp nhỉ, nhưng khoái nhất quả vừa dính vừa bắn bóng mạnh, tức là vừa xoáy vừa nhanh, thế thì đỡ bằng gì :D:D:D
